Bally Chohan Dubai Update – Emirates check-in from Metro Stations

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that an Emirates airline has done it again. In order to make travelling from Dubai easier, the Emirates airline has introduced self check-in booths at three metro stations on the Red Line in Dubai. The three metro stations on red line where this facility of self check in kiosks is available are the Mall of the Emirates, Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall and the Financial Centre.

The self check-in kiosks located at these three metro stations on the Red Line in Dubai will help travelers travelling by Emirates Airlines to print their boarding passes and move directly to immigrations at the terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. Any person travelling on Emirates Airline can access this service.  The boarding pass can be printed by entering reservation code or the ticket number issued by emirates airline. The boarding pass can also be printed by entering Emirates Skywards membership numbers.

Bally Chohan feels that this facility from emirates airlines will help its commuters to conveniently check-in, select preferred seats and also print their own boarding passes without having to wait in line at the airport.

Emirates Divisional Senior Vice-President, Airport Services Mohammed H Mattar, while addressing media personal told them that the launch of three self check-in kiosks at metro stations is in line with emirates vision to always add value and enhance travel experience of its customers.  These newly launched self check-in kiosks will allow emirates airline customers to access their boarding passes well before they get to the airport. The check-in at the designated metro stations can be done at least two hours before the departure time.

RTA has also allowed its commuters to carry in up to two luggage piece each on the metro. The size of the permitted luggage should not exceed 81cm in width, 58cm in height and 30cm in depth.  The passengers travelling with hand-luggage only can proceed directly to the immigration whereas the passengers travelling with baggage can check-in their luggage at the dedicated baggage drop counters.

An emirates airline has also introduced some very good baggage services at the terminal 3 of Dubai airports. The baggage services include baggage wrapping service for luggage protection and a concierge service that includes porter assistance.

Bally Chohan Business Update – Emirates to buy aircraft worth $16.9b

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Dubai based Emirates Airlines has once again lived up to its image as one of the fastest growing carrier by placing an order worth USD 16.9b for new aircrafts and engine. Dubai based Emirates Airlines placed this order on Monday at the Farnborough Airshow.

Bally Chohan feels that with this new deal Emirates Airlines has once again stunned the global aviation industry. This deal has come just within one month of Boeing and Airbus fighting for aircraft orders.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Emirates Airlines has successfully placed order for an additional thirty Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts at Farnborough. The order of 30 Boeing 777-300Er is valued at approximately USD 9.1 billion. The order placed at Farnborough also includes USD 4.8 billion deal for 32 GP7200 engines to power Airbus 380s with Engine Alliance and a USD 3 billion order for 30 GE90 for B-777s with GE Aviation.

Emirates Airlines is considered to be the largest carrier in Arab world. Emirates Airlines has placed record orders worth USD 11.5 billion to procure 32 A380s at Berlin Airshow in June 2010. The order of 32 A380s was placed to Airbus.

Emirates Airlines has placed orders worth USD 28.4 billion this year.

The deal at Farnborough Airshow was signed in presence of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The deal was however signed by Chairman and Chief Executive Office of Emirates Airline and Group , Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Jim Albaugh, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boeing Commercials Airplanes.

Emirates Airlines is celebrating its silver jubilee anniversary this year. UAE Armed Forces and Dubai International Airshow are participating at Farnborough. Shaikh Mohammed congratulated Emirates Group for its amazing performance and surpassing the achievement of long-established carriers.

The deal at Farnborough was signed in presence of senior executives from Emirates group including Maurice Flanagan, Executive Vice-Chairman Emirates Airlines and Groups, Tim Clark, President Emirates Airlines and Gary Chapman, President Group Services and Dnata.

Airbus and Boeing, the two titans in aerospace industry are fighting it hard to get one step ahead. Together they have delivered 979 aircrafts in 2009 as against 858 aircrafts in 2008. Bally Chohan Dubai UAE says that global aerospace market has come back faster than expected.

  • The first and foremost step is to plan your travel and book ticket. Do remember to book your ticket via Emirates official website www.emirates.com . Log on to www.emirates.com and use “Manage a Booking” option to book your ticket.
  • Please note that one way flights are not eligible if you are planning to apply for online visa. You will have to book return ticket to be eligible to apply for online visa.
  • You will have to pay USD 57 (AED 209) for 30 days visitor’s visa, USD 44 (AED 162) for 96 hours visa. Service charges to be paid in both the cases are USD 17 (AED 62). Service charges include sales tax also. Some countries residents may have to pay security deposit of AED 1000 to activate this service.  
  • Scan and upload copies of your passport, photograph and proof of residence, once you are done with booking of tickets. These documents will be transferred to Dubai immigration by Emirates.
  • You can track your visa application status by using “Manage a Booking” link. You will need your visa application number to track status of your visa application.
  • You will be delivered you visa electronically within four working days of your application.
  • The fee has to be paid using credit card.
  •  If in case you paid any deposits, the same will be paid back once you exit from the United Arab Emirates. The amount of deposits will be reversed on the same credit card that was used for paying deposits.
